Received within a couple of days of ordering. Connected it to the USB on the back of the telly (Samsung 6500 series) and hooked it over the top. Switched the telly on, started Skype and the device was recognised and started functioning instantly. I am told by people that I've 'skyped' that the picture is crisp and clear---better than the webcam on my laptop. Ergonomically, the webcam is very good.

It has two hinges in it's design and could if desired, be stood on any flat surface. It is perfectly shaped to sit on the top of the telly and is angled by means of adjusting the two hinges.

All in all, a very good product. Pity that Samsung don't supply it as part of the TV package. But that is another subject. Hooked it up and worked straight away on a PS51E550 with skype.

For £70, the picture quality is disappointing and the camera + lens are small and basic with no zoom functionality. An equivalent spec PC webcam would cost about £20 and for £70 you could get a full HD PC webcam with zoom capabilities. In this case only this model is compatible with Samsung TV's, so you have no choice but to pay the 'premium' set by the manufacturer (unless you want to wait for the possibility that a 3rd party manufacturer will bring out a compatible equivalent). On a positive note, Amazon have the most competitive price for this product from my research, with other retailers charging upto the RRP of £129. It is also more fun chatting to your friends and family on a 51inch screen while lounging on the sofa than sat in your spare room squatted in front of a PC monitor or laptop screen.

Overall, a low OK to disappointing in my experience but it will get plenty of use. Star plus mahabharat all episodes free download. Hooked it up and worked straight away on a PS51E550 with skype. Overall, a low OK to disappointing in my experience but it will get plenty of use. The setup is very easy: just connect it to the TV, and it will detect this camera, and make it available for video calls in Skype. All is fine on that front. The problem really is with the video quality. The video is not crisp, not smooth, but feels like a very low resolution image stretched onto a Full HD screen. The image is often highly pixelated and sometimes gets various artifacts for a short moment. I tried to experiment to understand if the problem is with the Skype client on the TV or the camera, but it's really difficult to determine that, because pure audio calls are consistently of high quality, but as soon as I turn on video, the experience degrades.
